Crataegus uniflora is a species of hawthorn known by the common name one-flowered hawthorn, or dwarf hawthorn. It is native to parts of the southeastern United States. Leaves are shiny, dark green, downy whitish on the underside. C. uniflora is somewhat more distinctive than other Ohio Hawthorns because of its unusual dwarf habit. The epithet "uniflora" is misleading in that there may be as many as 5 flowers in the inflorescence. Crataegus uniflora, or Dwarf Hawthorn, is found naturally in forests, roadsides, rock outcrops, and other disturbed lands with xeric to sub-xeric conditions.
